What you will do as a Consultant Digital Services

As a Consultant Digital Services, you will support our clients in delivering innovative digital solutions for the design, engineering, construction, and maintenance in the area of water, maritime or industry. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients optimize their business processes and implement smart technologies like AI, digital twins, IoT, and simulation tools that improve quality, efficiency, and sustainability. 

Your responsibilities include: 
• Collaborating with clients to understand their challenges and translate them into digital strategies and solutions. 
• Supporting the selection, configuration, and implementation of digital tools and platforms across EPCM phases. 
• Providing guidance on data-driven decision-making, digital workflows, and process optimization. 
• Ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. 
• Acting as a liaison between technical teams, domain experts, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and adoption. 
• Contributing to proposals, business development activities, and thought leadership within the digital domain. 
• Identifying opportunities to scale digital solutions across projects and clients.

You will be part of the Digital Twin advisory group, a multidisciplinary team of consultants, data specialists, and engineers who work together to develop and implement advanced digital solutions. The team acts as a competence centre for Digital Twin in Haskoning, supporting all business lines and collaborating closely with domain experts across Water, Maritime, Industry, and Buildings, creating an environment where innovation and practical application go hand in hand. You will join a growing community that values knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and pushing the boundaries of what digital can mean for our clients. 

What you will bring

You are a proactive and communicative professional who enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams and building strong client relationships. You combine analytical thinking with a hands-on approach to problemsolving and are motivated by helping organizations adopt digital ways of working. 

Hard requirements: 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT or Business management. 
• 5–10 years of experience in consultancy in the area of digital and at least one of the markets Water, Maritime, Industry, or Buildings. 
• Familiarity with digital concepts and systems such as BIM, GIS, Asset Management, AI, OT/IT integration, IoT, Digital Twins, and process simulation. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice. 
• Excellent command of English (Dutch is preferred). 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple parallel projects simultaneously. 
• A natural curiosity for emerging technologies and their application in engineering and assetheavy environments.
