As a Cash/Bank Employee you will be in a dynamic position in which you have contact with colleagues from various backgrounds and expertise.

What you do as Cash Bank Employee

As a Cash Bank Employee, you will be responsible for all cash bank related activities of 23 entities and 125 bank accounts. You will become part of the Record to Report team with 13 Finance professionals, where we are responsible for the financial control of a several Royal HaskoningDHV companies. Within the team we have two Cash Bank Employees. You will closely work together with the financial controllers within the team, but also with Treasury, Credit control and Project Accounting. Your work will consist of:

• Processing daily cash bank statements (approximately 20 bank accounts)
• Uploading and processing monthly local cash bank statements
• Manage weekly batch payments and manual payment requests
• Perform monthly cash/bank and suspense account reconciliations
• Support in various audits
• Maintain cash and bank application policies and procedures to ensure business requirements are met
• Identifies shortcomings in current administrative processes, systems and procedures, analyses and proposes alternatives, especially for own tasks

For performing these activities, we make use of Unit4BusinessWorld, online banking systems, BlackLine.

What you bring

You are a recent graduate or about to graduate with your Associate degree in Finance & Control or Accountancy or you have a MBO-4 degree with 3 -5 years relevant working experience.
You are accurate, punctual and have attention to details. Additionally, you

• Have good communication skills (verbal and written) in Dutch and English.
• Are client focused and communicate clearly
• Have good planning and organizing skills and have the ability and flexibility to apply quality control over a large volume of work with tight deadlines
• Have a basic knowledge of related disciplines
• Are digitally savvy (you quickly pick up new systems and processes)
