Project Director – Flood & Risk Mitigation Project (Project-based, Ecuador) 

Haskoning is preparing a multidisciplinary proposal for a major flood and risk mitigation infrastructure project in Ecuador. We are identifying a highly experienced Project Director currently based in Ecuador to participate on a project-based basis, subject to project award. 

What will you do

You will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and delivery of the consultancy project, acting as the key technical and managerial reference for the client. 

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams 
• Act as main interface with the client 
• Ensure quality, scope, and schedule compliance 
• Oversee preparation of all technical deliverables 
• Support strategic and contractual decisions 

Where you will work

This is a project-based position for professionals based in Ecuador, working within an international technical team.

What you bring

You are a senior project leader based in Ecuador, with extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure consultancy projects. 

• University degree (mandatory) and completed master’s degree or higher 
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure consultancy 
• Proven experience as Project Director / Manager in at least 4 consultancy projects with contract values > USD 500,000 
• Demonstrated experience in projects related to flood, debris flow or risk mitigation 
• Proven participation in at least 1 consultancy project with a contract value ≥ USD 1.6 million
